The 6th annual San Diego Beer Fest will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Liberty Station just down the road from Little Italy San Diego. Located on Cushing Road, this historic site will bring its own charm to the event. It will be a great day that will showcase craft beers from around the world. Also those attending will be treated to food trucks and live music. It will be a great day for all those fortunate enough to attend.
Over 70 different breweries will have their products on display during the day. Some of these are from well-known national names like Samuel Adams and Guinness while others may not be known outside their areas like Thorn St. Brewery from San Diego and Bear Roots Brewing Co. from Vista. Enjoy old favorites and make some new great finds.
There are several ticket options available that include beer tastings. General admission is $40 and is good for the entire day, 1pm to 4pm. A VIP ticket is $50 and gets the ticket holder in an hour earlier at 12pm. Food from the food trucks is not included in the price of a ticket.
When going to the San Diego Beer Fest there are several important things to remember. The event is only for those who are 21 and over. No one is admitted without proper ID. There are no pets allowed on the premises. Only tickets purchased before January 9th, 2016 are eligible for a refund.
Noah’s Bark Dog Rescue is the charity that will benefit from this event. This group takes shelter dogs and finds them loving forever-homes. All money raised helps with food, shelter, and veterinary care of these wonderful pets that need a second chance.
