Impressive in size, Stunning in appearance, and Creative in design! New Highrise Construction in Downtown San Diego. BOSA is working on their newest residential project in the City at the corner of Pacific Highway & Broadway in the Columbia District. We haven’t seen new condo construction in Downtown San Diego since 2009 so this is huge and quite exciting. This building will have a drastic impact on the Downtown San Diego skyline and will define the gateway from the North Embarcadero into Downtown.
The luxury highrise has yet to have been given a name but will become home for 217 residential suites soaring up 41 flights in the sky. 1, 2, and 3 bedroom residences are anticipated with sizes ranging from around 900-2,700 sqft, and built to emphasize the gorgeous postcard like views. Owners will indulge in exclusive trendy building amenities and inviting outdoor spaces highlighting our beautiful city. The ground floor will house 16,000 sqft of retail/commercial space creating more of what, we who live in the city love – lifestyle and walkability.
At approximately $1,000 per sqft, this new tower may be San Diego’s priciest. This aesthetically pleasing future tower boasts a clean, unique, curvy glass architecture inspired by the ocean waves and the geometry of sea shells. For the project, BOSA chose the architect, Kohn Pederson Fox, a globally recognized firm with a diverse portfolio of award winning designs. The new BOSA highrise is a welcomed addition to the Downtown community and San Diego Bayfront.
Marketing will begin in summer 2015. Pre-sales starting in fall 2015. Expected completion by end of 2017. Development also known as 1180 Santa Fe Depot, parcel 9 and Pacific & Broadway project.
Rick Davis, a sales representative of BOSA, joined us during our team weekly sales meeting where he shared with us the new highrise photo renderings, building and condo specs, how the pre-sales process will run, and the projected timelines. If you’re interested in learning more about this building, we would be delighted to meet with you.
