Downtown San Diego is so great with keeping and adding new open spaces such as the new project that will be taking place in Downtown. The Horton Plaza Park Expansion in the Gaslamp District in Downtown San Diego has now been approved by the San Diego City Council. The plan is to demolish the former Robinson-May building to be able to expand and retain the park and fountain and add a new public open space. Downtown San Diego Condos & Lofts home owners, residents and visitors may soon have a new place to celebrate their city on New Year’s Eve 2013…if construction stays on schedule.
The city has already received 22 proposals for the Horton Plaza park and hopes to hire an architect within the next month. ')}
