Toast Enoteca & Cucina is now open in the East Village/Ballpark District in Downtown San Diego! Please help us welcome this superb Italian restaurant/wine bar to the neighborhood!
Mr. Martin Gonzalez, owner of “Toast” and “Acqua Al2” (located on 5th Ave in the Gaslamp District), is looking forward to welcoming everyone to taste something extraordinary. Stop by at J St between 9th and 10th Street – just around the corner from Petco Park.
92101 Urban Living visited “Toast” yesterday and was invited to sit down and enjoy a lunch meal. This Italian restaurant in Downtown San Diego has it all. We tried a few different items on the menu – the Parma & Mozzarella Cheese Panini, the Cheese platter, the Grilled Chicken & Mozzarella Cheese Panini and the absolute delicious Lasagna. You cant go wrong with that!
“Toast” will bring the cuisine of an authentic Italian Enoteca that offers a different selection of appetizers, pizza, lunch and dinner items including 400 different red & white wines and 65 wines by the glass in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a loft like feeling with high ceilings & exposed elements.
Are you a wine lover and want to try some of the most famous and popular wines?? Toast have something pretty rare – in the middle of the restaurant is a round high table with a good selection of red wines where you can “wine taste”. The price varies from $3-10 for an ounce. All you have to do is to buy this little card in the bar and after that, you can taste away. There is a selection of white wines for you to try as well.
