In the East Village, nestled between downtown San Diego’s lofts and condos, sits a converted 1912 warehouse called Bar Basic. The vibe of this spot is a rustic urban bar with its brick walls, high ceilings, open space and industrial garage doors. The scent of this spot is New Haven, Conneticut thin crust pizza. A frequent event at this spot-Art Night.
In collaboration with San Diego’s Infusion Project, Art Night was born to bring local aspiring artists to the forefront in downtown San Diego’s ever growing community. People living downtown (or outside of it) come together on Tuesday evenings for the same purpose and that is to appreciate a cultural vibe of art and music all mixed together.
