At 92101 Urban Living, it’s one of our favorite times of the year again, when lovers of film, TV, comics, and games (and some who are just curious what all the fuss is about) flock to San Diego for the 49th Comic-Con International this coming weekend. About 160,000 attended last year’s convention with just as many expected this year. Among the sea of cosplayers, celebrities, action figures, comic books, video games, you might find your way to several of the big events happening, including panels, Q&As, and premiers. Here are some of the highly anticipated panels and events.

Comic-Con is also home to the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, the highest class of awards in the comic book world. This year’s award ceremony will be hosted by John Barrowman from Arrow and Torchwood.
An event this crazy, how can one manage to keep track of all the cool events happening? Well Comic-Con offers a free downloadable app that provides a personalized schedule, event details, a list and times of all special guests, and interactive maps of the floors and exhibit halls.
