New Year’s Day Brunch Cruise
January 1
Hornblower Cruises & Events is ringing in the New Year with a fabulous champagne brunch and cruise. This two-hour cruise starts at noon and features spectacular bay views, bottomless sparkling wine and mimosas, an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet, and live music.
Bloody Marys at Vom Fass
January 2
If your head is still throbbing from NYE, swing by Vom Fass from 10am-2pm and drink your headache away with $2 bloody marys. You can also hear about the history of the savory drink and learn how to put a spin on the classic cocktail.
The American Comedy Company
January 1-3, 14-16
Start the New Year right and laugh those winter doldrums away with some stand-up comedy by Colin Kane. Not for the easily offended, Colin is the master of in-your-face insults. You can see Colin January 1st-3rd. Latina comedienne and television personality Cristela Alonzo will also make an appearance January 14th-16th.
Dessert and Beer Tasting
January 14
The Museum of Man is offering this tasty event on January 14th from 6-8pm. Try an assortment of local craft brews, artisanal cheeses, and spectacular sweets from Extraordinary Desserts. Featured breweries include Ballast Point, AleSmith, Stone, Ninkasi, Lagunitas, and Coronado.
San Diego Brew Fest
January 16
Head down to Liberty Station and check out the 6th annual San Diego Brew Fest. Your ticket includes unlimited tastings from dozens of both local and international craft brewers, along with live music and tasty treats from food trucks. Proceeds from the event benefit Noah’s B’Ark Pet Rescue.
Restaurant Week
January 17-24
Restaurant is right around the corner. You’ll have eight full days to indulge at 180 awesome local restaurants. Check out the specially priced menus for lunch and dinner, and don’t forget to make reservations.
Farmers Insurance Open PGA Golf Tour
January 28-31
