The East Village/Ballpark District of Downtown San Diego showed strong activity during the year of 2011 compared to the other neighborhoods. With a total of 312 units sold out of the total number of 1,029 units sold in all of Downtown, the East Village really lead the way. Out of these Downtown San Diego Condos and Downtown San Diego Lofts 116 were Resale’s, 88 Short Sales, 56 REO’s and 52 Developer Sales.
The Little Italy District came in on second place with a total of 209 homes sold were the 78 Developer Sales were strongest compared to the other neighborhoods. The Marina and Columbia District’s share third place with 171 homes sold, Cortez Hill lands on 4th place with 102 homes sold, Gaslamp District, 5th place with 51 homes sold and last but not least the Metro area with a total of 12 homes sold and 6th place.
