We had the opportunity to walk a client into Alta the other day. I was absolutely impressed with the final product. Alta is a community that was designed with very hi-end appointments throughout the home i.e. wood flooring throughout the entry, kitchen and living areas and in some cases the bedroom as well. Normally, there is a better than usual berber style carpet in the bedroom. The closets have buildouts instead of the usual pole and shelf. Slate flooring in the bathroom as well.
The community was created with an emphasis on awesome amenities, hi-end features in the home and good sized patios that make up for smaller square footage. It is possible to continue the livable space outside. pretty Cool. They are in a builder close out mode. That is fantastic news for those looking to buy right now and take advantage of a great opportunity. One of the little things I noticed that would probably not even be thought about is the set up for moving in. There is a seperate entry and elevator for all the moving which keeps it out of the lobby, main elevators etc.
Amenities include a lap pool, hot tub, state of the art fitness/aerobic center. Community room with huge flat screen and pool table. Monitored public parking is right across the street as well. Location is everything, and this is located on the border of the Gaslamp and East Village/Ballpark district. Remember, it is always important when considering a new development to be represented by a Realtor who can help with the floorplan/view analysis, look over all the paperwork that the developer has the buyer sign and to protect the buyer throughout the transaction. It is of no cost to the buyer. The Seller/developer covers all Realtor costs.
